ERASIST
Blotted and smudged,
Words are better smeared
You think.
Like sometimes musical notes
Are made fuller and richer by distortion. You are like a famous de Kooning drawing
- unloved and under-appreciated
By an iconoclast - a Rauschenberg.
Painters sometimes scumble with
A brush
Whereas you often stumble
On your own pallet on the floor. No one said you were a master
But you've jacked-off all trades. You've smiled at those expecting a Mona Lisa, yet were happy with a Cheshire Cat. Speaking of Leonardo: was it really a self-portrait? What a drag, you think. Ha ha. Drag.
