I will listen

It’s not often that

Non-fiction

Can wield such authority

 

Too often

Real life

Seems dictated

By partiality

And particulars

Non-relatable.

 

Yours, however

Is a compellingly simple story:

 

Divide and conquer

Like the greatest in history

And then leave the dead

To rot in the sun.
